What happens when creativity meets the natural world?
Rooted in Art: Nature-Inspired Creations is a hands-on after school art experience where young artists explore botanical beauty through observation, experimentation, and meaningful creation. Over four inspiring sessions, students will connect with nature while building artistic skills and confidence.
Throughout this series, students will:
Build their own flower and plant press to take home and use all season long
Learn how to properly collect, arrange, and preserve plants
Create original artwork using pressed flowers and botanicals
Explore composition, texture, color, and design through nature-based projects
Develop patience, craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving skills
This class blends art, science, and mindfulness in a warm, encouraging environment that nurtures curiosity and creativity.
Space is limited. Pre-registration encouraged.

Allison is a licensed teacher and certified art educator who believes art should be joyful, exploratory, and accessible to all children. With a background in hands-on, child-centered learning, she creates art experiences that invite curiosity, imagination, and confidence, helping young artists feel proud of both their process and their creations.
